Corrections & Source Submissions

Hawaiʻi Sovereignty Archive welcomes documented corrections, stronger source material and evidence that may materially affect an entry. Submissions are evaluated according to the archive's published methodology. A correction request does not guarantee that an entry will be changed.

Correction requests are reviewed within seven days of receipt. Nothing is published automatically: each submission is read and checked against the cited record before any entry is changed. The methodology, source classes and evidence labels applied to every submission are set out on the About & Methodology page.

File attachments are not accepted through this form. Provide a link or a repository, institution, and locator so the record can be retrieved and checked.

Only what you type here is stored, together with the time of submission. A confirmation is shown only once the submission has actually been saved.

Corrections log

Corrections accepted after review are published here with the date, the page affected, the previous and corrected wording, the reason, the source relied upon, and the type of correction. Corrections and editorial revisions made in earlier archive versions remain in the version corrections log on the About page.

No published corrections at this time.
